Building Better Men in Unity, Truth & Service

Welcome to Koforidua Lodge No. 42

Koforidua Lodge No. 42, under the Grand Lodge of Ghana, was founded in 1964 by forty men of integrity inspired to “spread the spirit of goodwill” within Freemasonry and humanity. Granted a charter by the Grand Lodge of Scotland in 1963, the Lodge was consecrated in April 1964 at the Freemasons’ Hall, Accra, with Bro. Henry Reginald Annan as its first Master. In 1968, its own Freemasons’ Hall was established on A. Yirenkyi Avenue, Koforidua. Notable members have included Bros. Annan, Ofori-Atta, and Mensah. The Lodge remains dedicated to brotherhood, service, and the moral and spiritual growth of its members.
